When a GIRL is quiet, Millions of things are running in her mind. When a GIRL is not arguing,She is thinking deeply. When a GIRL looks at u with eyes full of questions,She is wondering how long you will be around. When a GIRL answers "i'm fine" after a few seconds, She is not at all fine. When a GIRL stares at you, She is wondering why you are lying. When a GIRL says I love you, She means it. When a GIRL says "i miss you", No one in this world can miss you more than her.

I stole that from Amy's Xanga...I like it.

"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." John 14:27

"Thou wilt keep in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Trust in the Lord forever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength. Isaiah 26:3-4

If you've never noticed, there's a sort of quiet intensity around some girls. There seems to be so much more to them than they let on. They seem to have some little secret. Their minds are always churning; yet, they don't always make their thoughts known...nor their desires...they allow others to choose, to decide, to lead...They try not to make things happen, try not to force their wishes to come true...they try to wait on the Lord...their behavior is marked with a kind of self-control...and in some cases, self-deprivation...That's why every little thing that they say means so much more than it seems...their words are laced with hidden meanings and dreams..."I'm fine" rarely means "I'm fine"..."nothing" rarely means "nothing"...."okay" is code for something more....but there are ways to read a girl...and I think that you'll be able to understand the girl(s) you need to understand....I think the Lord will help those who truly love her to understand her thoughts...her feelings....I think the Lord will teach her to trust those who love her, and those she loves...so that she'll be more inclined to utter her deepest thoughts....I pray that that is true. However, my favorite part of what Amy typed is that when a girl says "I love you", she means it. Now, it should be clear that I'm not talking about your average Jane, here...but....in my experience...a girl doesn't just say "I love you"...she doesn't "just say" anything...though she may say that she's "just saying"....The kind of girl we're talking about loves deeply...and she doesn't squander her love...

Surely, you realize the tumultuous feelings that must go on inside such a girl. The desire to openly tell people what's on her mind is tempered by a desire to let things happen. She struggles to let her mind rule her heart...and not the other way around. She attempts to live a life of self-control and self-deprivation (to some degree)...she wants to see what the Lord has in store for her, and she doesn't want to get in the way of that...every step she takes is a bit cautious..for she wants to be certain to tread the straight and narrow path her Lord inteneded for her to take. She wants to be loved and she wants to be known, but she prays that God will bring people into her life who can handle that...that he would bless her with the kind of friends who won't abandon her after she's let them really get to know her....She relies on the peace that comes from doing the Lord's will...she looks to the Lord for strength to carry on each day...Each day is not a burden...it is joyous and beautiful, but she needs the strength to stay true to her creator and follow Him.

Some girls want quite badly to be that girl...the one I just described...they want to be servants of the Lord...tbey want to trust Him to show them true happiness...they want to submit their lives...and especially their love life to him....but some girls become afraid after living that way. They find that their self-control becomes tainted by self-doubt...they worry that they aren't following the Lord's will...or are frightened when it starts to seem as though the Lord's will isn't matching up with what they had envisioned...they worry that they took a detour....they panic...and sometimes, that's when they veer off the straight and narrow...they chase a trivial feeling...a lust...out of fear that they may have already screwed up...more often than not, it's an irrational fear, but fear is fear....That girl needs to remember that the Lord is her strength and comfort, she has no reason to be afraid..........................sometimes, that's so hard, though.........
